Cultivating Self-Compassion

If you’re feeling the desire to add some new or different coping tools to your repertoire, looking to top up your knowledge and skills around things like distress tolerance and self-soothing, or could use some support on developing a self-care plan for your recovery, this is the workshop for you! Join Alyssa Walsh, CCC, and Estelle Cochingyan to learn how build your toolbox through healthy coping strategies and self-care plans.

We hope to strengthen your resilience to help you bounce back from challenging situations that could trigger your ED behaviours. Build skills like:

  • Distress tolerance: how to identify triggers, sensations, or thoughts that may overwhelm you
  • Delay, distract, and decide
  • Radical acceptance
  • Self-soothing: tips and tricks on how to take care of yourself (even if you don’t like yourself)
  • Creating a self-care plan
